Record without installing software. Capture the whole screen, a window or a tab, mix system sound and mic, add webcam PiP and live annotations, then trim, change speed and export GIF — all locally.
Is a browser recorder enough?
Recording used to mean installing software that eats space and adds watermarks. Today, thanks to the browser's MediaRecorder and getDisplayMedia, a web page can handle most recording and editing — perfect for quick tutorials, meetings or gameplay, with no install, no time limit and no uploads.
Choosing a capture mode
- Full screen: complete demos and online classes;
- Window: record one app, hiding the rest of your desktop;
- Tab: record a web page and capture its audio directly;
- Region: frame a corner for small demos.
System sound + microphone
When sharing the screen or a tab in Chrome/Edge, tick "Share audio" to capture system sound; enable the mic too and both mix locally into one track, so no post-production combining is needed.
Trim, change speed, export GIF
After stopping in Screen Recorder, preview, trim, merge, change speed, extract WAV and export a compressed GIF — all locally. To annotate the first frame, use Image Editor for arrows, text and redaction.
Stable long recordings
- Close notifications and popups first to protect privacy;
- Enable auto-segmenting for long sessions;
- For specific input events, try Event Screen;
- Preview for audio-video sync before exporting.
